About the Course


Physical Education is a course cum training program which mainly deals with cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body flexibility and body composition. In short, physical education is a field of study which deals with the study of development and care of human body. Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) is an undergraduate program in the field of physical education helps the aspirants get a basic knowledge about physical education.

As AICTE for technical education, All India Council of Physical Education (AICPE) is the body which controls the physical education program all over the country. After completion of Bachelor of Physical Education studies, the candidates can either go for higher studies in the field of Physical Education or can pursue a job. There is a vast career scope for those who have successfully completed their B.P.Ed degree. Eligibility for Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed)

For the one year course in Bachelor of Physical Education, the aspirant should have completed an undergraduate program from any of the recognized University in any discipline. For the 3 year course in Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), the aspirant should have completed a graduate degree in Physical Education (B.P.E). If he/she has represented for any games or athletics, it will add up to his qualifications. Also the candidate should clear the qualifying exam conducted by the University for its B.P.ed program.
